The airline Malaysia Airlines , which owned the plane on Thursday was shot down in eastern Ukraine on Saturday announced that fatalities among the passengers were 192 Dutch citizens.

In total, there were 298 people on board.

The airline, which completed the identification of the dead, said 44 Malays were among the victims, including all 15 crew members, 27 Australians, 12 Indonesians, ten Britons, four Germans, four Belgians, three Filipinos and one Canadian and one New Zealand citizen each.
