AIDS researcher Lange is killed
This is a personal tragedy for journalist Inga Paparde, as she knew several people who were on board the plane. The trip from the Netherlands to the World AIDS Conference in Melbourne went on more than a hundred researchers and medical staff who have donated their lives to AIDS research. Among them is one of the most outstanding minds of this century, Jups Lange, a scientist at the University of Amsterdam, who created drugs for HIV-positive pregnant women.
